World Travel and Tourism Conference Gala Dinner with Julie Andrews

The finale for this event was broadcast on the Verizon V-cast Network. Julie Andrews lead a large children’s choir singing “it’s a small world”, followed by four Disney singers performing “One”, a song originally written for the grand opening of Hong Kong Disneyland. The event was held at the National Building Museum in April 2006. The lighting was designed by KC Wilkerson and was featured in Live Design magazine in June 2006, and awarded the Grand Champion award in a design competition sponsored by Barbizon Lighting. The event was programmed by Edward Motts on Martin’s maxxyz console using an all-Martin rig consisting of Mac 2K Performances, Profiles, and Washes. All gear provided by Atmosphere, Inc.
